　　到了老爷爷的家，一进门，一只全身黑乎乎的八哥朝我们大叫“大家好!”。老爷爷、老奶奶都很热情，老爷爷拿出了一副很大的象棋让我们下，老奶奶拿出了两大盆哈密瓜请我们吃。因为我象棋下得不是很好，只好坐在沙发上边吃哈密瓜，边看那些男同学下。下了几局棋之后，老爷爷带我们去看他们家刚才和我们打招呼的那只八哥，我很感兴趣，他给我们介绍：这只八哥他养了十年，老奶奶教它说“去买菜哟!”，因此每天早上六点的时候，这只八哥便会大叫“去买菜哟!”，老奶奶便会放下手中的活，提着篮子去买菜。我心想，这只八哥被老爷爷他们养了十年，学了很多话，我也要试试看。于是我便蹲下来，对着八哥拍了拍手，八哥那双芝麻大小的眼睛立刻圆溜溜地瞪着我，我对它说“你好”，它马上回了我一句“你好，大家好”。我哈哈大笑起来。这时老爷爷又跟我们聊了聊象棋，又问了我们一些问题。一个小时很快就过去了，我们依依不舍地离开了老爷爷的家。

　　能够利用暑假的一些时间去陪陪老爷爷、老奶奶，和他们聊聊天、说说话是很有意义的。
